Hebru Brantley and NAEA workshop!

Ms. Beaulieu has been lucky enough to participate in two amazing events this past month: The first, hosting other art teachers from around the country at the NAEA (National Art Education Association) conference. Along with Ms. Neater, and Ms. Alicea, we ran a workshop on printmaking and teaching about socially-minded issues. It was pretty amazing as you can see.

Just yesterday, I tagged along for a few hours to see the AMAZING studio of the artist Hebru Brantley. We haven't studied his work quite yet this year, but it was a dream. He is the kindest, most humble, and extremely talented person. We also stopped by the Hyde Park Center on our way back south and visited the lovely Amanda William's studio, but I wasn't able to stay... I had to get back to teaching!
